Description
The earliest known time this piece was in print in 1907, and there’s a recording by the Fisk Jubilee Singers from 1920. This duet is for two primer-level players, with both parts in pre-reading notation. The Primo part has one 8va marking requiring a hand-crossing; otherwise each part’s hands stay in a pre-reading black key position. The primo part also has a couple of optional “hands together” measures.
