James L. King III’s Fanflair! is a piece for 1 piano, 6 hands that is energetic, fun, and flashy! The three parts are written for different levels of students, so siblings (who are typically at different levels) can practice and play this piece together. The piece has a huge sound that will fill any auditorium, and is a fantastic choice for opening events and festivals.
The Primo part is for elementary students: it stays within a 5-finger position throughout the piece.
The Secondo part is for late elementary or early intermediate students. It does not stay within a 5-finger position and has accidentals.
The Terzo part is for primer students. It stays within a 5-finger position except for 2 left-hand thumb extensions from G to A.
Individual parts and a combined score are included for maximum flexibility.
