Description
The title of this piece has many variant spellings: Santiana, Santy Anna, Santayana, Santiano, Santy Anno and others. The famous sea shanty recalls the story of the Mexican General Antonio López de Santa Anna during the Mexican-American War and General (later President) Zachary Taylor.
