Description

Llwyn Onn, otherwise known as The Ash Grove, is a traditional Welsh folk song, whose tune is used for the Thanksgiving hymn Let All Things Now Living, composed in 1939 by Katherine K. Davis. Its popularity led to it being included in several Christmas album compilations. The music is also used for many other hymns, including The Master Hath Come, Sent Forth by God’s Blessing and On This Night Most Holy.

This arrangement simplifies the melody while keeping the spirit and tone of the piece intact. Students gain experience with hand extensions, dynamics and ritardando.
