Description
This piece is a close cousin to C. P. E. Bach’s Solfeggietto with its minor key and rapid passages, including arpeggios (its namesake), broken chords, and scales. While the piece can be played with two hands, Arpeggietto was designed to be played with either hand alone, making it a good “broken arm” piece.
Key: G minor
Mood: quick, intense
Pedagogy: arpeggios, scales, broken chords, single hand playing.
