Old Town Blues is moderately slow, on the easy side of intermediate, with a combination of walking bass and 2-note shell chords in the left hand. The right hand plays ♭9 chords and a riff using an extended blues scale. More advanced students can add more verses and blues scale variations to the original; it’s substantial enough for professionals to use at a gig.
