Description
James L. King III’s Minuet in C is in sonata form instead of binary form, which gives it a slightly different quality from the famous Petzold minuets in the Notenbüchlein für Anna Magdalena Bach. Students will get plenty of practice with two-note slurs and staccato touch. The counterpoint between both hands is interesting for the player and for the audience. It has a very classic and dignified sound that is well-suited for recitals.
