Description

Dedicated by James L. King III to his father who passed away in October of 2016, Starting Over is not only a memorial of love, but also a statement of resolve in the face of adversity. Parallel sixths and an inner counter-melody that is played between the hands help tell the dramatic story found within this piece.

Key: Eb Major

Mood: sad and wistful, then optimistic and victorious, and finally calm and trysting.
