Description
Chaos! won an award for Outstanding Composition in the 1985 South Carolina State Superintendent’s Celebration of the Arts Festival. The title of the piece comes from its very dissonant polytonality, yet the piece is very structured and accessible to audiences. The duet is very pattern-based, making it a quick read for most students. It has a driving ostinato bass and sparkling arpeggios that will impress and delight audiences. Facing-pages layout and a combined score are included for maximum flexibility.
Key: A minor, A Major, C minor
